출제 경향: 문장 내에서 여러 요소가 병렬된 연결된 구조를 파악할 수 있어야 한다..

 

병렬구조의 원리: 등위접속사(and, or, but)나 상관접속사(not only A but B, either A or B, neither A nor B, not A but B)로 연결되는 어구들은 명사면 명사, 동명사면 동명사와 같은 식으로 문법적으로 동등한 형태를 취해야 한다.

   The teacher enjoys teaching and learning. → 동명사+동명사

   He entered the room, sat down, and opened the book. → 동사+동사+동사

   She opened the door both slowly and quietly. → 부사+부사
