2009년 11월 구입 음반들...

11월달에는 10월달에 구입음반이 크게 줄어든 편이다.....다른 곳에 돈 쓸일이 너무 많아서 어쩔 수 없이 구하고 싶은 것들을 다음 기회로 많이 미뤘는데 데스메탈/그라인드 계열 음반들을 올해 하반기 신보들을 상대적으로 많이 구입한 편이다. 참고로 Cannibal Corpse 앨범은 미국에 있었을 때 카세트로 구입했던 것을 드디어 이번 기회에 CD로 구입을 하였고 Colonize The Rotting의 데모같은 경우는 밴드의 자체 발매반과 Sevared에서 정식으로 발매한 버전 2가지 다 구입을 했다.

가장 가지고 싶던 궁극의 모형을 드디어 손에 넣었다.

올해 초부터 계속 구입을 벼루고 있었는데 이놈의 말도안되는 수준의 가격 압박 땜에

구입을 한없이 미루다가 드뎌 구하니까 기분은 좋지만 동시에 이 모형의 무식한 크기

땜시 공간의 문제가 생겨버렸다....ㅡㅡ;;;

글고 사진이 너무 구리게 나왔다....내 디카도 구려서 그러긴 하지만 무엇보다 내 사진찍는 실력이 막장이니...

(이놈의 수전증.....손떨림 방지 기능을 이용해도 사진이 제대로 안 찍힐 정도이다....ㅠㅠ;;;)

암튼 굉장히 멋진것 같다. 전반적인 디테일, 디자인, 색 등은 정말로 기대 이상의 수준이다. 베이스가 다소 아쉽긴 하지만

오히려 단순한 베이스 디자인으로 인해 Queen Alien이 더욱 부각이 되는 것 같기도 하다.

지금까지 여왕 외계인 모형은 4개 밖에 없었고 그 중 한개는 팔아버린지 오래다.

가장 초기에 샀던것은 아이들 완구용으로 나왔던 여왕이다(이건 구한지가 거진 20년되간다). 애덜 장난감 치고는

디테일은 끝내주긴 하지만 영화 디자인하고는 너무 거리가 멀다는 것이 항상 아쉬웠다.

다음은 Halcyon사에서 발매했던 1/12 스케일의 여왕 Model Kit이다. 제작하는데 상당히 짜증이 나긴 했지만 지금까지 본 여왕 모형

중에서는 가장 영화 디자인에 충실하다. 아쉬운건 예전에 우리집 이사하면서 이삿짐 나르던 인간들이 등에 난 스파이크 3개 잃어버리고

꼬리 일부분이 파손되었다는 것. 이건 이제 구하고 싶어도 더 이상 정상적인 가격으로는 솔직히 못 구한다.

그 다음은 멕팔레인사의 여왕이다. 크기는 이번에 온 여왕과 얼추 비슷한 엄청난 덩치를 자랑하지만 가장 예쁘지(?) 않은데다가

디자인도 별로고 정도 안가고 그저 공간만 차지해서 구입한지 얼마되지 않은 시점에 되팔아버렸다. 요즘에 심심치않게 이걸 파는

사람들을 찾을 수 있지만 이건 아무리 비싸게 주고 사도 10만원 이상 지불하는 것은 미친짓이라고 생각한다.

마지막으로 이번에 온 여왕이다. Halcyon사의 여왕 다음으로 가장 영화 디자인에 충실하지만 아래턱 부분이 좀 빈약해 보인다는

점만 빼면 지금까지 나온 여왕 모형 중 최고의 퀄리티를 자랑한다고 생각한다.

개인적으로 AVP에 등장하는 Queen은 별로 맘에 안든다. 따라서 AVP에 등장하는 Queen과 관련된 모형은 하나도 구입 안했다.

그 외에 정말로 구입하고 싶었던 것은 코나미사의 매우 작은 축소 여왕이다. 크기는 정말로 작지만 디테일이나 디자인은 매우 훌륭한

수준이다. (아래 사진 참고)

추가적으로 Palisades Toys Signature Series Alien Queen Statue도 꼭 구하고 싶지만 이것 역시 크기가 엄청나고 가격 역시 ㅎㄷㄷ한

수준이라서 걍 넘어갔다. 또한 포즈는 가장 멋지다고 생각하지만 전반적 디테일과 디자인은 사이드쇼 여왕이 훨씬 맘에 든다.

내가 소장하고 있는 모형들의 사진을 올려야 하지만 지금 모형들이 수중에 없는 관계로 넷상에 돌아다니는 것들을 올렸다.

영화의 디자인과는 괴리감이 심한 기존의 여왕과는 달리 같은 회사에서 이후에 출시된 여왕의 경우 영화 디자인에는 충실하지만

전반적인 디테일은 오히려 초기 여왕보다 떨어진다.

Styracosaurus Maquette은 이번달에 발매된다더니 내년 1월로 미루어졌고

Deinosuchus vs Parasaurolophus Diorama하고 Dinosauria Ornament도 구해야 하는데 돈은 없고......ㅠ.ㅠ;;;

명절 연휴 및 이런저런 일 등으로 약간 늦게 9월 구입 목록을 올린다. 기존 계획보다는 많이 구입했지만 지난 몇달에 비하여 구매량이 어쩔 수 없이 크게 줄었다. 개인적으로 매우 아쉬운 것은 Garroter정규 앨범과 Rottrevore의 정규 앨범 재발매반을 주문했었는데 재고가 없어서 다른 음반으로 대체해버렸다(뭐 구체적으로 언급하자면 Necrotic하고 Severance로....어차피 구입 계획중이던 앨범들이라서). 그리고 Infernal Dominion은 상당히 프리미엄이 붙은 정규 앨범의 오리지날 발매반을 소장중이지만 음질 업그레이드 및 알찬 보너스곡들의 수록 땜시 재발매반을 구입하였다. 참고로 Sikfuk의 신보는 선주문을 통하여 구입하였다.

2009년 8월 구입 음반들

8월달에는 지난 몇개월에 비하여 데스/그라인드 계열 음반들의 구입 비중이 약간 커진 것 같다. 아마도 8월달이 올해 대량(?) 구매의 마지막이 될 것 같다. 더이상 경제적/시간적 사정상 음반 구매나 음악 감상에 투자하기 어려운 상황이 되어버려서 어쩔수가 없다. 참고로 이번에도 재구입 음반들이 몇 개 있는데 Sepultura의 Roots는 예전 중딩 시절 때 카세트테입으로 구했었고, Exterminio, Putrefukation은 기존 소장 CD 상태가 병신 수준인데다가 개인적으로 매우 좋아하는 스타일의 밴드들이라서 재구입을 하게 되었고 Reprobation의 데뷔 EP와 Fermento의 Murder All는 재발매앨범들이긴 하지만 내용물이 상당히 알차고 리마스터링 과정을 거쳐서 음질이 업그레이드가 되어서 재구입을 하게 되었다.

재구입한 Exterminio CD 확인한 결과 역시 상태가 병신이다. 아무래도 CD발매 레이블측에서 CD 프레스 과정에서 문제가 있었던 것 같다. 암튼 기분은 뭣같지만 그나마 내가 받았던 CD만 상태가 나쁜것은 아니라는 것을 알게 된 점이 그나마 작은 위안이 된다. 그래도 돈 아까워 미치겠다. 진작에 알았으면 다른 것을 주문했을텐데.....ㅡㅡ;;

만약에 누군가가 내 개인 소장 모형을 저렇게 만진다면 아주 손을 두번다시 못쓰게 만들어 버린다...

암튼 그건 그렇고 요즘 불탈 데스 위주로 다루는 레이블들의 계속 지체되고 있는 신보 발매 소식 및 디스트로들의 물품 업데이트 횟수가 점점 줄어들고 있는 것 같아서 많이 아쉽다. 솔직히 내가 개인적으로 놀랬던 것은 보름 이상 해외에 나갔다가 왔는데 내가 가장 애용하는 몇몇 레이블/디스트로들의 물품 업데이트 리스트가 내가 나가기 전이나 귀국 후에 전혀 변함이 없었다는 점이다. 그리고 이번 여름에 발매되었어야 할 신보들이 올 가을, 연말, 심지어 내년 초까지 발매날짜가 점점 미루어지고 있다. 이러한 상황들을 보면 역시 불탈 데스씬이 점점 여러가지 면에서 어려워지고 예전처럼 유지가 힘들어져가고 있다는 생각이 든다. 아무리 팬층은 나름 두텁다 하더라도 밴드들의 음반이나 각종 merch들을 적극적으로 구매하는 사람들도 솔직히 크게 줄어들고 있는 추세이고 또한 넷상으로 음반이 발매되기도 전에 전곡을 쉽게 다운받아서 들어볼 수 있다는 점이 씬의 큰 타격을 주는 것 같다... 개인적으로는 최소한 밴드들의 음반 만큼은 어떻게든 구입을 하고 또한 이번 여름에 발매되기로 한 정말로 기대가 되는 신보들이 많았는데 대부분 발매시기가 미루어져서 아쉬움이 많이 남는다. 특히 몇몇 음반들은 아예 발매여부 자체가 불투명하게 된 것들도 있다.

2009년 7월 구입 음반들

평소보다 조금 일찍 구입 음반 목록을 올리는데 이번달 말에 보름이상 해외 발굴 작업을 가는데다가 이번달에는 추가적으로 음반을 구입할 계획이 따로 없어서 걍 올린다. 이번달에는 락/메탈 범주 안에서 어느 특정 한 장르에 편중되지 않고 가장 다양하게 구입을 한 것 같다. 특히 올해 발매된 신보들을 꽤 구입해버렸다... 참고로 Hate Eternal 데뷔앨범은 기존 소장중인 CD가 데이타가 망가져서 그런지 그 어떠한 오디오기기에 돌려도 인식이 되지 않아서 재구입해버렸다...ㅡㅡ;;; 그리고 Demilich의 Nespithe 앨범은 1993년에 Pavement Music을 통해 발매된 미국 라이센스반을 이미 소장중이지만 음질이 매우 구리다는게 항상 아쉬웠는데 올해 재발매반은 리마스터링 과정을 거친데다가 초기 데모곡들이 보너스로 들어가서 재구입을 하게되었다. 이번달에 구입한 불탈 데스/그라인드 계열 앨범들 대체로 매우 만족스럽지만 Exterminio CD는 완전 병신인 것을 받았다. CD 트렉 읽히는 표면에 별의별 물리적인 충격을 받은 듯한 흔적들과 막상 오디오나 PC, CDP등에 돌리면 정말로 참기 힘든 잡음들이 들린다. 음악 자체는 더욱 엽기적인 Dying Fetus를 떠올리는 정말 괜찮은 스타일이지만 CD하나를 날려먹은거나 다름없다 ㅠ.ㅠ;;;

내 카메라가 워낙 안좋은데다가 이놈의 수전증 때문에 사진이 개판으로 나왔다. 한 30장은 넘게 찍었는데 플레시 없이 찍은 것 중에서

그나마 제일 잘 나온 사진이다. 디카에 날짜 설정을 안해놔서 사진에 표시되는 날짜는 무조건 2007.01.01일이다...

암튼 가장 왼쪽에 있는 것은 Sideshow Collectibles에서 올해부터 발매를 시작한 Dinosauria제품 중에서 첫타자로 나온

Tyrannosaurus Rex vs. Triceratops 디오라마이다. 가격은 상당히 무식한 수준으로 비싸지만(이거 하나 가격에 음반 40~50장은

살 수 있다) 크기, 디테일, color applications 모두 대만족이다. 특히 다이네믹함이 살아있다는 것이 가장 맘에 든다. 단지 아쉬운 점은

정식 디오라마 치고는 너무나도 썰렁한 베이스 디자인을 갖추었다는 점이다. 암튼 비싼 가격을 지불하고 도착하기를 오랫동안 기다렸지만

충분히 그만한 가치를 갖춘 모형이다.

중앙 위에 있는 것은 2005년에 구입한 Kinto Favorites에서 발매한 Michael Trcic(나름 유명한 paleo-artist겸 sculptor이다)

Tyrannosaurus Rex이다(1/24 스케일). 이 스테츄 모형도 생각보다 꽤 크고 가격도 만만치 않다. 아마도 이 공룡의 형태/해부학적

측면에서는 가장 정확성이 높은 모형 중 하나라고 생각된다(단지 생산의 효율성을 위해 이빨부분 처리가 너무 대충되었다는 점이

크게 아쉽다). 역시 디테일이 나름 뛰어나고 무엇보다 색이나 포즈가 매우 자연스러워 보인다는 점이 맘에 든다. 박물관 같은 장소에서

전시용으로 자주 사용되는 모형이기도 하다.

중앙 아래에 있는 것은 Kinto Favorites의 Dinosaur Scene시리즈 중에서 Tyrannosaurus battle이라는 모형이다. 각 공룡들의 크기는

상당히 작지만 전반적인 디테일, 포즈는 상당히 괜찮은 수준이고 특히 베이스 처리가 아주 잘 되어있다. 단지 아쉬운 점은 color

application이 너무 대충 되었다는 느낌이 들고 또한 아마도 운송과정 때문에 그런 것 같지만 사진에는 안 보여도 다른 T-Rex의 주둥이를

물고 있는 T-Rex의 이빨의 절반 가까이가 나가버렸다. 그리고 죽어있는 Triceratops의 뒷다리가 이상하게 디자인 되었다. 암튼 이 모형도

전시용으로 사용하기에 적합한 수준이다.

가장 오른쪽에 있는 것은 Papo에서 발매한 Tyrannosaurus Rex이다. 디자인은 쥬라기 공원의 T-Rex를 그대로 따왔고 또한 형태/해부학적

측면에서는 가장 정확성이 떨어지는 모형이기도 하다. 하지만 가격과 크기를 고려할 때에는 디테일이 정말로 뛰어나고(실제로 사진에

등장하는 모형들 중 순수하게 디테일면에서는 가장 좋다) 턱에 관절이 있어서 입을 벌리고 닫게 할 수 있다. 이것 역시 생산의 효율성의

이유 때문이겠지만 원형 사진을 보았을 때에는(참고로 한국분이 원형을 제작함) 이빨처리가 잘 되었었는데 막상 생산품의 이빨은 상당히

어정쩡하게 처리되었다.

Sevared에서 2건의 대량(?) 주문을 했었는데 하나는 정상적으로 도책했고 다른 하나는 국내에 package가 도착할 당시 빌어먹을 운송 파업 때문에 미국으로 다시 되돌려보내졌다. 어쩐지 드럽게 안온다 생각했더니 역시나 그런 개같은 이유가 있었다. 암튼 미국으로 반송된 것을 다시 받을려면 한참 걸리는데다가 Sevared측의 실수로 반송된 것이 아니기 때문에 운송료 내가 또 부담을 해야된다......

환율도 좀 떨어지는 듯 하더니 오늘 확 오르고.......ㅡㅡ;;;;

2009년 5월 구입 음반들...

5월달에는 음반들을 상당히 무식하게 많이 구입해버린 것 같다. 이중에서 예전 중학교 때와 고등학교 시절 초반에 카세트 테입으로 구입했던 음반들을 이번에 다시 CD로 구입한 것들도 꽤 되고 올해 계속 락/메탈 범주 내에서 아주 장르를 잡탕으로 해서 구입하고 있다. 암튼 다른건 몰라도 불탈 데스/그라인드 계열 음반들은 해외주문으로 구입을 계속 하고 있지만 이상하게 이번달에는 전에 비해서 도착하는데 2~3배정도 오래 걸리는 것 같다. 전에는 빠르면 1주일, 늦어도 10일 이내에 모두 왔었는데 3주 넘도록 소식이 없는 것도 있고 암튼 빨랑 도착했으면 좋겠다. 참고로 Devourment의 신보는 선주문을 통해서 구입을 했기 때문에 실제 발매예정일보다 일찍 받게 되었다.
