i'm so into JAM HSIAO since he 1st debuted! hahahh.. woke up so damn early today . had nothing to do . so went to youtube to watch some taiwanese variety shows. had been subscribing to ykedwin. i LOVE his (let's asume its a HE) channel!! he will upload XING GUANG 3 everyweek. and uploads KANG XI LAI LE everyday. (i so like XIAO S and KANG YONG k! LOL.) And also, ykedwin will upload the latest taiwanese variety shows too! as long as he is able to get the videos, he'll upload them (i suppose?). hahahh.. so it keeps me OCCUPIED!

i will catch XING GUANG 3 everyweek since after the BAI BU FU HUO SAI. cos i find that it's getting more exciting!! and i LOVE HUANG JING LUN! he's just so adorable (= the other contestants are great too! XU JIA YING and LEE CHU NING! i like them =D i can say that.. the girls in top 10 are all very GOOD in singing. guys, ~~i have no comments~~ (= but i personally like HUANG JING LUN . not because he's singaporean. but because of his voice and cuteness! ^^

ok anw.. back to JAM HSIAO. hahahh.. i really like his voice . and also, his character. not because im following the trend or something (~~you dnt see me liking YOGA LIN or YANG ZHONG WEI~~) . but he's really lovable. hahahh ^^

alright i watched ytd's KANG XI LAI LE. and it was featuring JAM HSIAO! it was damn funny lah ! XIAO S and KANG YONG were like so shock to see JAM HSIAO has changed to become more talkative as in he talks more nowadays. hahah.. actually i realised that it's XIAO ZHU and XIAO GUI made him talk a lot! he keeps on going to YU LE BAI FEN BAI. and he starts to talk more . i watched almost every episode featuring JAM. and he really has changed - to be more talkative.. hahahh.. anw AH QIN from F.I.R was there too. JAM HSIAO's elder brother was there TOO! he was the one who wrote the lyric for JAM's "HAI YU LIAN"! 2008.07.05 SATURDAY

met huiwah and went to boat quay to meet xuewei shun bian have our DINNER there. LOL . then, we went to thai pub to meet alex. played till 4+am and we went to have our BREAKFAST at some coffee shop near chinatown. hahahh.. alex and friends then went home. left huiwah, xuewei and i . the 3 of us walked all the way from chinatown to clarke quay mcdonalds. THAT IS SO FAR CAN! and all of us were so tired . it was around 6 in the morning! LOL . sat at mcdonalds.. talking crap. i was hungry again . so had my breakfast again. hahah .. sat till ard 9+am. STRONG HOR? hahah .. and the 3 of us took our bus home.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICOLE!! (=

as usual.. went to have lesson with my students. thought them how to change basic verb to casual informal ending. and also how to introduce themselves in korean. they're just so cute . hahahh.. anyone interested? anw.. went to look for stepfan at central after the lesson . LOOKED AFTER THE SHOP WITH HIM LOH! LOL .. had my dinner there. accompanied him till WE closed the shop! LOL . xuewei was supposed to meet us there . but as USUAL.. she prepared for QUITE a LONG time. wahahahah .. so we met her after we've closed the shop at around 10pm.

had nothing better to do . supposed to celebrate banana's birthday at MOS. but he said to postpone it to tmr . so end up the 3 of us, xuewei, stepfan and i met up at clarke quay. went over to boat quay to have my dinner, AGAIN. went to MOS to celebrate clarence's birthday. banana wasnt there cos he went to celebrate his birthday singing k? =_= and we were supposed to celebrate clarence birthday at zouk but we ended up at MOS. hahahh.. anw .. happy birthday to LARRY (on the 12th), BANANA (on the 13th) and CLARENCE (on the 14th)!! anw.. met up with stepfan 1st. anthony drove us to orchard cineleisure. and went off with my sis to JB! so, stepfan and i went to paragon to look for ekachai and david who were both eating at DING TAI FENG! LOL. good life eh . poor stepfan and i have to watch them eating through the glasses. but we cant stand it. so we went to coffee bean to grab some drinks. LOL.

went to eka's house after that . waited for everyone . we've nth better to do. eka went cam whoring in his room. david and stepfan playing ps2. me? watching david and stepfan playing ps2, seeing eka's photos, going to the toilet and walking around like a stranded soul. WAAHAHAHAH .. then, came yihan . MR PNG! but still we have to wait for the others. so he does what i did too. battle came back with only 5 members on the 10th of June (correct me if im wrong) after disappearing for a year. kihyun left the group to focus on acting. what a waste. is battle still the battle without kihyun? today i'll comment on the 2nd shinhwa with only 5 members.

from battle shinhwa to "말해! (Mal-hae!)" single.. i've been thinking that battle will be a success. however, they disappoint me after their comeback this year with their new single, "Step by Step". their styles are totally gross! each individual carries a different style. it looks like as if there are 5 different INDIVIDUAL SINGERS coming tgt and forming a group. moreover they dnt suit what they are now. esp chris's hair!! DISAPPOINTING! their songs are also.. no comment at all. title song "Step by Step" sounds machiam like TECHNO sia !! bbbbrrrrr~~ not as nice as "Crash (Crazy in Love)" and "말해!" though groovy too. And they dnt have those really nice slow songs such as "Icarus" and "고장난가슴 (Broken Heart)". OMO OMO!! where did they go for a year?! i suppose they were gone for some training to make more good music and dance moves?? but NO!

is it because shinhwa is gone serving the nation that is why you're not improving?? NO WAY!! you're supposed to be the 2nd shinhwa! to be another legend arent you?

after they 1st debuted, i really LOVE them! they were always performing one particular song (Crash), but i LOVED it. esp the dance move. DAMN POWERFUL. next was.. 말해! .. CUTE SONG. and really very nice dance move. very cute.

i also love seeing them singing "Perfect Man" by shinhwa. LIVE. very organised. they did really well. own voice, not trying to imitate anyone. esp taehwa. carries a lot of charisma. they're really far better than our SuperBand "SOUL". WAAHHAHAH.. moreover they're much younger. SOUL were just disgracing themselves. however, i felt rather sad for ishi ㅠㅠ

anw.. back to battle. WHY AM I ALWAYS GOING OUT OF TOPIC! LOL. ok.. overall.. i hope to see a better battle in the future. I AM SO SAD THAT KIHYUN IS GONE!! ㅠㅠ please come back like how andy came back to shinhwa in the past ok? ㅅㅅ

OMG i just cant stand mediacorp!! coming out with so many meaningless programmes. one of them is U ARE THE ONE. getting the SAME faces and claiming that they need NEW faces on the screen. and the other is .. SUPER BAND 2.

and of cos.. i just cant UNDERSTAND what is going on on U ARE THE ONE. their so-called "TALENTS" of each and every contestants are "trained" by them. so.. what are actually TALENTS to them? using forks and breads to DANCE on the table? or doing some other things which they are not good at it? or even doing some other stuffs which i believe there are more people who can do it BETTER than them?

since they're just looking at FACES but not TALENTS, then whats the use of adding in a segment of TALENT SHOW? because they have nothing better to think of? a more creative programme? HA. HA. and what is the use of having the same faces in the competition? even though they both have different talents?

i've watched a few episodes. i really find it meaningless. hmm~ maybe i should ask.. WHAT are the winners going to do after winning the contest? at least SUPER BAND or some other star search programmes are looking for SOMETHING. singers, bands, hosts, actors/actresses etc. but what is U ARE THE ONE looking for?

anyway.. even if SUPER BAND is looking for BANDS .. i still find it meaningless. from the past music contests, all the winners dont go THAT far like how JJ Lin, Ah Do, Stefanie Sun etc have got to. staying in singapore music industry isnt a GREAT thing . cos our music industry isnt as BIG and CAPABLE as taiwanese, japanese and korean's. maybe becos of the FANS. what i can say is.. MOST of the WISER FANS will only fancy those talented and also good looking artistes. and the rest will just fancy those who are on the "TREND". which are all from our music competitions (=

for example.. why is JJ Lin more famous than Darren Tan? why is Stefanie Sun more famous than Kelly Poon? i did not say they cant sing. YES they CAN sing. but perhaps they do not have the charisma like JJ Lin and Stefanie Sun had.

however.. there are still some who should be appreciated. like SUPER BAND champion MiLuBing and SUPER STAR Chen Wei Lian. i think they are REALLY talented. but WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

i can just say that.. music contests in singapore arent really successful. just look at taiwan and korea will do. joining the music contests there really makes you well known and successful. and of cos.. you MUST be talented in order to join THEIR music contests. not so easy (=

taiwan.. Xing Guang Da Dao. the contestants are really competitive. they REALLY can sing. and the winners really got what they SHOULD get . i mean.. what ARE your main purposes of joining these music contests? of cos is to be famous, right? and as for korea.. SM Audition, Battle Shinhwa etc.. after the competition, they WILL have some PLACE in the music industries. fan clubs all over the world - japan, taiwan, singapore, malaysia, china, thailand, phillipines, indonesia, australia and even the US! fan base getting bigger and bigger. concerts, fan meetings, performing at Hollywood Bowl etc.. oh and also.. if you're joining a singing contest in korea, you'll be "tested" singing and also dancing in EVERY contests. every music companies in korea do so (=

so now you can see the BIG DIFFERENCES between singapore's media and other countries' media. and of cos, they have MUCH MORE interesting programmes hosted by MANY humourous MCs. that is how their shows get so famous. even singaporeans LOVE to watch it. they normally promote the singers on those programmes. and also, in korea they have programmes mainly for only artistes singing on the shows. like "InKiGaYo (人?歌?)" and "Music Bank" etc. so singers who just debuted or singers who have gone for years and making a comeback, can actually have the chance to promote their title songs on those shows. isnt that more interesting? target audiences are their FANS and people who loves music! maybe because they have more channels. more competitive for every channels. unlike singapore. we have a lot of channels. but all owned by the same company - mediacorp. dnt have to compete at all. that is why we're still living in our own world. HA . HA.

so if mediacorp import more variety shows and dramas from taiwan, japan or korea, i think you can really have more views from the viewers! (= cos we dnt have IDOLS in singapore. we only have "SINGERS". 偶像歌手 and 歌手 is totally different. we dnt have 偶像? in singapore. we only have those FAMILY shows in singapore. this and that almost the same stories. predicted! actually i really LOVE watching those old shows like "Dou Fu Jie", "Bo Yin Ren" etc.. very nice shows!! but why nowadays.. DISAPPOINTED!! but anyway.. it's a wise choice for mediacorp to import those taiwanese variety shows and korean drama series. taiwanese variety shows like 100% entertainment, Jacky Wu's hosted shows are good choices! but PLEASE!! please import those which will catch youngsters' eyesight for korean dramas! and not ONLY for aunties yup! those "Da Chang Jin" etc.. LOL. there're A LOT of nicer korean dramas! which will get a lot of youngsters' attention.. so.. PLEASE DO SOMETHING! cos if you dont, i think starhub cable tv is going to get hold of everyone's eyes on their channels (=

maybe in the future we will see A LOT of "ARTISTES" on the street. maybe almost everyone has shown their faces at least ONCE on the tv? and maybe "ARTISTES" will be so "common" in the future. no wonder there arent paparazzi in singapore. =_=
