	    	&lt;P&gt;지난 9월 18일부터 20일까지, 미국 미네소타 세인트 폴에서 열렸던 케틀벨 지도자 코스를 다녀 온 일지를 올립니다.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;처음에 시차때문에 잠을 거의 자지 못한데다, 아침 9시부터 저녁 6시까지 계속되는 실기교육과 짬짬이 있는 테스트덕분에, 생전처음 윗입술에 대상포진이 생기는 생소한 경험까지 만들어준, 나름 그 만큼 고생해서 얻은 certification 이기에 더욱 소중했던 시간이었습니다.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1일차&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;인천공항에서 샌프란시스코까지 10시간, 오는 내내 5명 앉은 자리의 정 가운데에서 거의 꼼짝 못하고 -중간에 화장실 한번 다녀 온게 전부인- 고문을 당하듯 도착한 미국, 솔직히 빨리 비행기에 내려서 좀 움직이고 싶은 마음이 너무 간절해서 입국심사도 세관도 대충 통과하고 서둘러 국내선편으로 이동했습니다.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;재미있는 건, 한국이나 미국이나 공항주변에는 건물이 없기 마련이지만, 한국에서는 못보던 낮은 구름이 건물옥상과 지평선을 따라 나란하게 일어나더군요. &lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;긴 여정끝에 도착한 미네아폴리스 옆 세인트 폴의 첫인상은, 그냥 정말 조용한 작은 동네라는 느낌-우리나라로 말하면 작은 읍정도-이었습니다. 지나가는 사람도, 자동차도 거의 없어서 한적한 느낌에 왠지 마음이 편안해지고, 깨끗한 공기에 눈이 시원해지더군요.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;그냥 오기 너무 아쉬워 이책 저책 뒤적이다 겨우 마음에 드는 책을 발견-유일하게 영어로 되어 있는-해서 기쁜 마음에 사기는 했는 데, 우리나라 돈으로 5만원정도 하더군요.^^&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;책을 사고 나니, 수중에&amp;nbsp;900엔이 남더라구요.&amp;nbsp;그래도 공항까지 갈 차비는 되니까 걱정 No.!&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;지하철을 타고 오면서 느꼈던 거지만, 운전석을 볼 수 없는 한국과는 달리, 일본 지하철은 내부를 훤하니 볼 수가 있어서 좋았습니다. &lt;/P&gt;

	    <title>케틀벨 트레이닝 in Tokyo 첫째 날</title>

	    	&lt;P&gt;지난 6월 28~30일 3일동안 케틀벨을 배우러 잠깐 일본에 다녀왔습니다.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;사실 전에부터 일본에 있는 RKC II 레벨인 Mr. Taikei 씨와 만나기 위해 연락을 주고 받다가, 28일에 또다른 RKC 인 Mr. Boris Bachmann씨와 함께 워크샵을 한다고 해서 부랴부랴 티켓을 끊어서 도쿄로 넘어갔지요^^&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;가는 날이 장날이라고, 환율도&amp;nbsp;제일&amp;nbsp;비쌀때-한국에 돌아오니 많이 떨어졌더군요&amp;nbsp;ㅜㅜ -가서 이래저래&amp;nbsp;생각보다 비용이&amp;nbsp;많이 들기는 했지만, 그래도 값진 시간이었습니다.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;하네다공항에서 신주쿠에 있는 힐튼호텔까지 가는 데, 한시간 남짓, 거기서 Mr. Taikei씨와 Mr. Bachmann를&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;만났습니다.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;도착한 날은 시간이 너무 늦어서 셋이서 그냥 저녁을 같이 먹고, 케틀벨에 관해서, 운동에 관해서, 그리고 각자의 직업과 백그라운드에 관해서 이야기 하다 헤어졌습니다.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Mr.Taikei 씨는 순수하게 케틀벨 트레이닝과 관련된 일이 주된 일이었고, Mr.Bachmann씨는 미국 오하이오주의 고등학교 일본어 선생님이라도 하시더군요.^^&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;케틀벨 덕분에, 어쩌면 평생 만날 일이 없는 사람들과 친구가 된다는 것이 새삼 고맙게 느껴지는 시간이었습니다.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;어쨋든 다음날부터 트레이닝 시작!&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Mr.Taikei씨의 집 바로 옆에 있는 공원- 우리나라로 말한다면 용산 가족공원정도의 공원이-으로 셋이서 케틀벨을 들고 가서 운동을 시작했습니다.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;아니 정확히 말하면, 9월에 있을 테스트에 합격을 하기 위한 퍼스널 트레이닝이라고 할까요?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;블랙 케틀벨도 좋지만, 빨강색도 괜찮다는 생각이 들더군요~&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;단점이라면, 빨강색 케틀벨의 경우는 핸들이 더 매끈해서, 실제 운동에는 파우더(쵸크)를 더 많이 사용해야 했습니다.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;보시는 케틀벨은 24kg 2개(빨강색 케틀벨도 24kg였습니다), 16kg 2개, 12kg 1개 였습니다.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;사실, 제 나름 케틀벨 운동을 오래 해 왔기때문에, 어느정도 운동에 대해서는 자신이 있다고 생각을 했었습니다만, 실제 트레이닝을 해 보니 제 스스로 고칠 점이 참 많다라는 걸 느꼈습니다.&lt;/P&gt;
