Hasbro and Google has announced that beginning tomorrow you will be able to play a worldwide game of Monopoly using Google Maps.

The game is called Monopoly City Streets, and it works like this.

Each player starts with $3 million cash. They will be able to buy any street in the world to erect houses, stadiums and even skyscrapers, which in turn allows them to collect more and more daily rent (ranging from $50,000 to $100 million per property). What is the goal of this game? “Play to beat your friends and the world to become the richest property magnate in existence,” of course.

Australia town bans bottled water

The small Australian town of Bundanoon has become the first place in the country, and possibly the world, to ban the sale of bottled water. Residents of the town southwest of Sydney voted overwhelmingly in favor of the ban on Wednesday night. Local businesses have agreed to stop selling bottled water and free water fountains will now be installed in the town. The voluntary boycott was triggered by concerns of the environmental impact of bottling and transporting water.

"Bottled water has a role to play in various parts of Australia and many parts of the world but we don't really need it as we have a wonderful municipal water supply," local businessman Huw Kingston, who led the campaign, told Reuters news agency.

"We're not a bunch of raving greenies but this is us showing we can work together as a community for sustainability."

The vote in Bundanoon prompted the premier of New South Wales state earlier this week to announce an immediate ban on state departments and agencies buying bottled water.

"Tap water isn't just better for the environment, it's better for your wallet - you can refill your drink bottle 1,350 times for the average cost of a bottle of spring water," Nathan Rees said.

Environmental groups like WWF have campaigned against bottled water, saying resources are wasted in bottling and transporting water which may be no safer or healthier than tap water while selling for up to a thousand times the price. But Geoff Parker, director of the Australasian Bottled Water Institute Inc, a group which represents the industry, said the bans were disappointing.

"The environmental footprint of one bottle of water of locally produced water would be much smaller than a tin of canned tomatoes imported from overseas, some imported cheese, or French champagne," he told Reuters. "We need to keep it in perspective."

Even when our consoles are on standby, they still use electricity. According to green gadget maker TrickleStar, the PS3 will burn off the equivalent of $250 over a year spent in standby, with the 360 doing only slightly better. The Wii, thankfully, uses ten times less than the PS3, which is great for Nintendo, when they are not ranking last on Greenpeace's Guide to Greener Electronics.

Ultimately, one option is to just unplug the console in question when not in use, but as someone who has tried this method, I can vouch that it just doesn't work. I plainly forget each day, and the hassle of reaching around the TV to plug and unplug my 360, for example, is as obnoxious as ELF members on a street corner asking for "only $15 a month to help save our planet".

That's why TrickleStar announced this weird little device, the TV TrickleSaver. Designed with game consoles in mind (but usable for any device with an electrical plug), this stupidly-named adapter acts as an electrical barrier to your game consoles when your TV is turned off. Sure, it's expensive at 35 bucks, and it means that all passive actions your console performs (downloads, recharging controllers, etc.) cannot be done without the TV on, but it's one price you can pay if you want to be a greener gamer. Or you can just unplug the damn thing each night.

정확한 한국어 풀이로는 고객 접점 관리 라는 말이라고 하는 편이 낫다.

이게 뭐냐

가장 쉽게 푼 것을 찾아 적은 것이다.

본 하인을 원망하지 말라.

기존의 많은 오프라인 상에서

고객과 접점을 만나기 위한 시도로

고객의 Response를 이끌어 내기 위한 수단으로

그 의미를 정의 할 수 있다.

비슷한말로는

Interaction Mapping

간단한 정의로는 그렇고

여기서 Mapping 이란 의미가 들어가는 것은

고객과 만나는 접점을 잘 관리할 수 있도록 하는 지도를 만들어 가기 때문이라고 할 수 있다.

그 의미가 약간 어렵고 다가 가기 힘든건

당연히 경영학적인 의미에서 풀어나가기 때문이다.

흔히 경영학 관련 된 문구로 지칭되는 Touch Point Mapping의 과정은

구매 경로 확인 -> 구매 경로에서의 중요한 접점 확인 -> 중요한 접점에서의 고객의 기대치 확인 -> 주요한 관점에서의 기업의 제공 서비스나 커뮤니케이션 확인 -> 기대치와 제공 서비스, 커뮤니케이션의 차이를 발견 -> 차이 중에서 우선 해결과제를 선정 -> 해결과제의 대안 수립 및 진행의 단계

과정은 위와 같다.

어렵다. 뭔말인지도 모르겠다.

위의 Flow를 그림적 함수관계로 풀어놓은 그림도 많은 마케팅 책에서 (입문서에선 찾아 볼 수 없다)

흔히 소비재관련품목일 경우

마트내의 다양한 제품 입간판으로 부터 시작해서 판매요원, 제품디자인패키지, 시각디자인적 요소

프로모션활동에 대한 피드백, A/S 운영 및 콜센터 운영까지

상당히 광범위하기 때문에

Mapping이 중요한 것이었다.

본 하인도 IMC적인 마인드를 상당히 중요시하게 생각하기에

일관된 메시지를 던지는 것은 대단히 중요하다.

아무리 잘된 상품과

서비스일지라도

한군데가 삐긋나면 그건 도로 아비타불 되는 것이기에

전체적인 맵핑 작업이 중요한 것이다.

이야기를 해보면

BLOG는 이제 그 의미를 퇴색할 것이라는

SNS는 이건 대책이 없다. 무분별한 사행성논란에 따른 갈등 심화로 비추어 질 것이고

다행인 것이고

딱 하나 봐야할 것이 있으니

댓글은 상당히 인식이 퍼져 있으니 그 활용도는 아주 사랑스럽다

가끔 알바라느니, 서비스라느니, 라는 말이 있지만

그 감정과 바쁜 현대인의 엉덩이를 잡아주는

아주 좋은 한줄 운동인 것이다.

Misia 를 알게 된건

때는 어느덧 초여름

군복을 입고 처음 휴가를 나오던날

느낌없이

교보문고를 찾았을때

그때는 핫트랙스에 가서 음악을 듣고 구입하는게 왠지

이상야릇한 기분을 휩싸이게 하는

매력을 가지고 있었다.

군복을 입고도 갈 수 있었던 것은

내 얼굴의 뻔뻔함 보다는

아마 아쉬웠기 때문일 것인데

아무튼 그때 구입한 음반이 MISIA의
