Seems like I only update when I have performances!! Hahha. Anyway we had our first synchronised practice today for next week's "Nobody". We even have dresses and shoes sponsored, and a makeup artist for our hair and makeup!! So exciting! The dress is gorgeous! Silver and glttery :D ONE MORE WEEK! <3 I CAN DO THIS!:D

I hereby commence this self-declared economics budget due to financial crisis. And on this last day of financial freedom, I

(a) watched Transformers 2 - Revenge of the fallen

(b) Drank Venti-sized White Chocolate Frappuccino at Starbucks and

Hah. Therefore it was a well-spent last day and yes let it commence.

Assuming complete financial responsibility for myself now the tuition fee loan is in order, and will be getting an allowance from school ($3600 per annum and another thousand as bursary, but I will be left with $2100 upon returning my eldest brother money for my laptop and such) Shit happens because, I have a hell lot of things I haven't gotten for school! I still need my very expensive textbooks, transport fees, daily expenses, whatever shit I might need for the next year. Oh, clothes too u__u So...breakfast and dinner can be settled at the hostel. Lunch T__T What now. Sigh.

I got over feeling upset and stressed over this because heck, I will face this on my own, whatever it takes. Must not borrow money from my brother or parents. I CAN DO THIS! :D I'm not pathetic, just disciplined :)

Okay so....here goes The Scrimp List

27th June

Slept for 4 hours, woke up refreshed and all excited for our debut stage!

Reached Takashimaya real early

On-stage rehearsal after a long wait. The stage was smaller than I thought.

Returned to CJ to rehearse, eat (SUBWAY! plus raisin cookies) get our makeup done and change into our performance attire

Cabbed/took laoshi's car to Taka, OH THE EXCITEMENT

Waited for our turn while we helped our seniors to change out of their singing/dance outfits, since ours was sort of the finale item

Performing felt awesome, because in that instance, you don't feel a single bit of exhaustion. All that matters is delivering everything you've been rehearsing to the audience, and remembering to smile. There was even this very funny fanboy XD Our hard work paid off! Although we've yet to be evaluated by laoshi.

Di and Sherm came over to doll up for clubbing/post perf party.

KFC for dinner :)

『 LALALA Bingeing on supper now that performance is over!! Performance was awesome :) The loveliest peoples came down to watch our perf! <3
And back from clubbing with Diyana Jess Tracy and Chong hence my feet are asdfgh sore. Tracy and Jess dance in heels *__* I am impressed okay!! Diyana and Shermin came over to my place to get Di all dolled up and we even planned how we were gna act in front of Di's ex bf and eventually that s-ho didn't even show up u__u I'm not even gonna lie that I can't stand guys (or people in general) who're not honest especially to the person he or she claim to love. That's how much of a turnoff he's starting to be.

I swear we always meet interesting things. There were a group of blacks at the club who were so good at bboying plus the biggest guy was interested in Chong cos she's a pro at popping locking and all that. Not so much of a dance battle but we formed this makeshift KO zone kinda dancefloor. I LIKE :)) Plus I love dancing with Di and Jess and Tracy and Chong! :DD
Okay but before we met Chong, WE MET A FUCKING PERVERT. The four of us were in a circle dancing and Jess noticed this fucking retard grinding himself behind me which I then realised because I'm slow like that ;;__;; And lovely Jess was putting her hands around me trying to push me into the circle, and later she switched places with me cos the fucking guy just kept grinding himself against us in general. wtf. Jess nudged him and glared and all but he just won't stop >:( I was kinda scared. HE'S FUGLY. And shameless. Now that I think back on it, damn why didn't I just stomp on his foot? D:
And we left to get drinks and met Chong :)
Anyway after a while, travelling here and there, we managed to squeeze back onto the main dance area, which was on this superb high. Actually I noticed somebody real close behind me for quite some time but didn't expect the guy to actually talk. But he was really nice! Maybe in his mid-20s? We were screaming in each other's ears the whole time by the way. The conversation went something like:

Guy: Hey, can I dance with you?
Me: What? *heard him but wants to confirm*
Guy: Can I dance with you?
Me (says to Chong and the rest, cos I was scared): Erm, he wants to dance with me?
Chong: He wants to dance with you, why you ask me?
Me: Omg okay. *did not say yes but Guy was already beside me so wth* -DANCES WITH GUY-
Guy: Do you come here often?
Me: This is my second time! -AM SCARED TO TALK BUT TALKS ANYWAY-
Guy: Second time here or second time clubbing?
Me: Both! Second time here and clubbing.
Guy: Serious? You guys look like bigshots.-HIS EYES ARE REALLY BIG, OR MAYBE IT'S THE LIGHTING-
Me: *laughs* Really, my second time.

Guy: You studying?
Me: Going to the uni!
Guy: What? -music is too loud-
Me: -screams- UNIVERSITY!!
Guy: Born in 89?
Me: 1990!
Guy: *eyes widen*

Me: No, but we're from the same dance crew!

Me: Erm. *UNSURE* No.

Diyana says: 'It's 2am.'
And lol this is so Cinderella-ish when I said I had to go and "goodbye!"! No exchanging numbers or anything so it's pretty friendly and harmless :)) And he's really nice! Under the lightings I thought he looked kinda good? Plus he's tall. I don't know. Too dark in the place to judge anything.
Harmless dancing is fun :)

I love you guys so much! Clubbing is safe when you have the best girlfriends around <3

And I'm tired and hungry still, despite latenight KFC and supper. It's okay to binge without worrying about having a tummy on performance day wheeee!

28th June

Charlene's singing competition: Diyana and I went early to book a good spot for her onemillionstar contest. Since we reached early, she painted my nails turquoise. And we ate Subway for 3 consecutive days!

Although she eventually didn't make it to Top 3 to compete in Taiwan, WE STILL LOVE YOU CHARLENE, for representing our school, for doing so well, and for nearly making me tear with your beautiful cover of Lena Park's "In Dreams". I love that song now.

We each wanted to take pictures with the dancers but the only people we got to take pictures with was 5+5 from China. Aish. WRECKING BBOY CREW! I wanna know who's that guy but I can't find his profile ):

Anyway The Big Groove was a blast. I MUST WORK HARDER AT DANCE. Seeing so many great dancers and all. We (Jo, Diyana, Jess and I) are so inspired now.

ONE MORE DAY TO PERFORMANCE!! We did better at rehearsals today. plus we got our ~~slutty~~ outfits already ;O; ~~Sigh.~~ Ripped dance teeshirts and biker gloves left, so this calls for another shopping spree tomorrow despite the fact that I've been spending waaay over budget lately! I AM EXCITED! Just hope Amos feels better tomorrow :|

Performance is in 2 days time :O My legs are really tired and I felt like I couldn't go on anymore today. My stupid muscles. DO YOUR JOB COME ON COME ON. Although it's due to the fact that I only ate a piece of bread, a cup of choco/banana coffee and some chocolates before practice at 5.30. Fortunately we stopped for dinner (SUBWAY!!) and carried on learning new steps afterwards.

Eating strawberries for supper and probably going to bed soon. Need to shop for shorts/biker gloves and accesorries/ fake eyelashes and whatever shit tomorrow before dance rehearsals!

Today (or rather, yesterday, since it's 4 am now) was good for many reasons and bad for many reasons and I'm not even sure I have the stamina to elaborate.

WHY LIKE THIS?

Sometimes I'm just overly connected to my muses and I'm sooo affected when things happen. I so don't want them to be hurt, and neither do I want to hurt others. But when it happens, it just breaks my heart.

Two hours ago I was extremely happy.

JY has a cute (albeit pedophilic) crush on TM and she posted this private note which was reciprocated in an amazing manner.

And something else happened that made both JY and I think twice.

TkY(who liked JY ever since this little drinking party they had, plus 2 sleepovers at JY's apartment) caught up with the subtle hints that JY and TM dropped with the private notes. Am I too sensitive, or did he leave because of me? I can't help but feel sorry and very much guilty.

And now, JY's not even sure TM feels the same way that much. Or maybe it was something that's never meant to happen.

What should we do.

Dance practice was goood. Considering Di and I tried our best not to take long breaks. And the dance steps have pretty much been memorised. All we need is coordination. We can do it, yeah!!

It's a team effort. If you're not intending to keep your side of the deal, we don't know how to help either :(

Waking up in 3 hours to go to the amusement park. Hate my eyebags.

My brother's off to the army! :) Mom, Dad, my two brothers and I were so close to being late and left behind by the ferry. Sleepy-eyed and hungry, We trooped down to Pulau Tekong for an induction tour while my brother prepared himself for the Oath Taking all recruits had to perform at the first ceremony. Well that being said, the most significant part was leaving my brother behind while we leave the island. Lunch at the military canteen was provided for all, and it wasn't bad at all! But we joked that since the soldier's parents and guests were here, they probably served only the best. And then, sigh, family members had to leave the cookhouse. I've never hugged my brothers (except maybe when i was much younger; I even kissed him then! urgh) so we exchanged knuckle punches and I told him we'll go clubbing when he comes back ^_^ He won't be back until the 28th of June, he's even gonna miss my performance! :(

On that subject, 2 more weeks to go before Shine Festival, our first show with this new group :)

Speaking of which, has it been 10 weeks already since the first performing group dance training?

Things are going to be so different at home. I'm leaving for university in early August and my second bro's only home for weekends. Eldest brother's a teacher and extremely busy. Aunt's going back to Malaysia if I'm not wrong.

As our lives change, I'm going to miss those lovely childhood days when we didn't give a damn.

Intended to sign up for Arts Faculty (Pre)Orientation camp, but I have dance performance on the 27th of June, and The Big Groove on 28th. Which leaves the last 3 days and that is so not worth the amount of money we're expected to pay .__. Woke up reaalll late. So today was spent skipping dance, catching up, eating loads of junk! We watched A Night at the Museum 2 after our usual Starbucks. Movie was...not all that fantastic, I thought.

그리고...

어제 구입하는 컴퓨터: Acer Aspire 4736G! Which, according to my eldest brother (whom I now owe SGD 1500 to), is a gaming computer! Am oviously not a gaming freak, but such laptops have better RAMs and SATA HDD shit. Pardon my technological incompetency *please insert your own computer babble*.
