hardwood staircase. The upper landing is neatly kitted out with a small pantry and workstation.
The bedroom has a two-seater sofa, a 7 feet wide bed and a 32" flatscreen television suspended over
one corner. The bathroom with a view is located behind the bedroom.

Duplex Suite [ First floor 30㎡ + Second floor 25㎡ ]
S31 is the first hotel in Bangkok to offer duplex suites, and is the hotel's iconic room type.
The lower level has a powder room, a two person sofa facing the television, a chaise longue
by the window, two chairs, and space to place an extra bed. The only room type without a work station,
the duplex is truly a place to unwind.
The solid hardwood staircase leads to a cosy open bedroom overlooking the living area below.
An additional television stands at the foot of the bed. The master bathroom is a few steps up,
through sliding wood panels that can be shifted so guests soaking in the tub can enjoy clear views.

Panorama View Suite [ 70㎡ ]
The romantic Panorama View Suite has a wall of curved windows running along one side.
Near the entrance, a marble topped pantry counter seamlessly widens to a marble topped workstation
diagonally opposite a small living set arranged near the windows. The 8 foot wide bed stands in pride of
place against the far wall. The spacious bathroom hidden along the interior wall is warmly lit.

Family Residential Suite [ 165㎡ ]
S31's opulent three-bedroom Family Residential Suite retains the sleek, clean lines of the brand.
Entering the double doors of the 165 square metres space spread over two floors, guests will be dazzled
by the breathtaking wide open space emphasised with expansive double-height glass wall. To the right,
a wraparound waist high open kitchenette has an Espresso machine in pride of place, and a marble
topped counter with high bar stools. The comfortable living area has windows along one side and large
Italian style sofas and armchairs backed by a mirrored wall arranged around an enormous 50"
flatscreen television. To the left of the entrance are the dining area, powder room and the beautiful
master suite which has a separate living room and a sauna in the bathroom. The second floor houses
two bedrooms, one double and one twin with ensuite bathrooms. Just off the landing on the second
floor, a set of stairs leads to the 90 square metre open rooftop recreation area that has a canopied
teakwood day lounger and private saltwater swimming pool with the hotel's signature plexiglass walls.
Here, guests can glance up and see the 100 m Wine & Bistro on the topmost floor.

Passing through the reception area to the outdoor recreation space, Dr. Sumet's humour is given full
rein. Gigantic colourful geometric sculptures preside over the left corner surrounded by a putting green.
Cute white designer dogs on the turf seem to gambol in the astroturf, and at night, luminescent designer
armchairs glow at night on this multi-purpose space. Counterbalancing all these colours is a calming
blue of the saltwater swimming pool.

Saltwater Swimming Pool on 8th Floor
Enjoy the singular saltwater swimming pool with Jacuzzi which is the only one of its kind in Bangkok.
The freeform curvy plexiglass (TBD) produces fun optical illusions. Depending on where the swimmer is
located, bystanders will laugh at shape and size distortions as though in a hall of mirrors, and the
illusion of seeing heads seemingly disjointed from bodies. Best of all, the see-through glass walls allow
guests to capture their underwater antics with conventional cameras.

Fitness on 9th Floor
The spacious and fully equipped fitness centre with a range of cardio machines which overlooks the
swimming pool. Boxing fans will revel in putting their bodies to the test throwing punches at sandbags

on rainy nights, the unusual angled glass panels silently catch raindrops softly so they glide down and
catch the light like jewels. Choose nooks that are partitioned off by mirrored panels or claim tables for
two, or three along the windows of the bistro. Dusky candle lit tables laid with crisp white linens and
fresh flowers ensure that the focus is only on your dining partner and the night skies.
